Arriving by train,we found the location just as we hoped. a block from the station. It was a nice central location in the heart of the city, close to many points of interest.
A convienience fridge in the room is always apprieciated.
Service was very professional at check-in and check-out. The lady working there was really nice. The hotel is close to the via, so very convenient if traveling by train.
Housekeeping kept on knocking at the door (came back twice) from about an hour and a half before checkout time.
The hotel was fine. It was very convenient to the Bell center which is where we were going.
Our waiter messed up our order, but we didn't complain, since we were short on time.
It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean. It is in agreat location.
poor service. We booked 2 rooms one for our son and one for us. The hotel said it would be ready by 3 and they would put rush on it. It was not ready by 3:25 and still wasn't ready and we didn't end up on same floor. We booked the room over a month in advance. Then we ordered room service for breakfast and the bell boy came back and told us we had already checked out, which we hadn't and said we had to pay cash. then the front desk called us to say our credit card wasn't working.l then they ran it again and it worked. The rooms were prepaid when we booked online we just wanted to pay for the breakfast as well with the card. I sure hope we weren't double charged again for the rooms as they did take the credit card again.
From time of arrival the staff was very helpfull. They were kind and eager to help. The rroom had a great view and was very clean. I would and have recomended it to friends.

the location and especilly the staff and the room with an overview, window design are great as it allows fior a greater view that the traditional hotel windows.
the pool area, you advertize about saunas but no longer have saunas. I was hoping for one in the afternoon to relax. in addtion the hottub was cold not warmer than the pool and poor jets

Location -- needed to walk several minutes to get to shopping, site-seeing or restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for business, but not for vacation due to location.
I liked the view over the park, and the efficiency of the well kept lifts.
I did find the room very dated in both furnishing and fittings. A kettle to make tea would be more suitable than the coffee perculator.
The beds were so comfortable, it took a significant effort to get my son out of bed ; )

The hotel itself is comparable to many, but it has an amazing view of parks and churches from upper rooms which cannot be beaten. Would definitely stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the location and its close proxmity to shopping and old Montreal. Also, I enjoyed the comfort of the bedding and layout of the room.
It would have been nice to receive a coupon with the room for breakfast at the hotel as it was pricey to eat there.

The bar staff were very good friendly and skilled.
There was an error made in our booking and we were kept waiting over 30 mins until it was sorted. This took 3 staff but I had a booking reference and my paperwork. There were not enough towels in the bedroom. There was no kettle tea coffee or nibble in the room only a coffee percolator that is complex and produces poor coffee. We had been travelling for 9 hours and needed a small refreshment. The toilet did not flush so had not been checked. There were not enough towels in the room for a women and a man sharing. Apart from the central location I have stayed in many small hotels that provide all these things. The staff were impersonal apart from the bar staff. I was very disappointed and will b reviewing my membership.
The location is good being right on top of a metro stop and walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The pool and jacuzzi facilities were very good. Some of the front desk personnel I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The concierge was very helpful. The concierge level continental breakfast and snacks were good. Onsite private parking was good.
At the front entrance there seemed to be only stairs making it difficult to carry the luggage into the hotel. One bellman outside that did not help. No bell service to assist with luggage to or from the room. I am a Marriott rewards member and provided my member information at check-in and was on a floor that provided additional benefits but was not explained or reviewed with me at check-in. At similar Marriott hotels the room charge included the morning buffet and was excellent but not at this hotel and the buffet at this hotel was average compared to others. We had significant problems with the key not working for our room or concierge services even after receiving new keys and eventually were locked out of our room requiring security and facilities to fix. A minor personal pillow was removed from the room when the sheets were changed and was not found. The parking was very expensive. The restaurant menus did not contain many appealing items and was not a typical Marriott menu.
